Steve May

Steve May, age 64, of Gulfport died Monday, November 24, 2014 in Gulfport. He was born in Florence, AL and had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 15 years. Mr. May was formerly employed as a finance manager with Champion Dodge in Gulfport and Huffman’s Auto in Long Beach. When away from the office, Steve enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and most of all, spending time with his family making him a great husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara Tipton May; three daughters, Amy Southerland of Pottersville, NJ, Rebecca May of Florence, AL and Amanda(David Billingsley)Murray of Gulfport; and son, Donald Murray; two sisters, Elise(Regina)May of Washington, DC and Sue(Chett)Young of Florence, AL; and brother, Phillip(Charlotte)May of Florence, AL. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
