Susan Lynette "Sue" Hammons

Susan Lynette “Sue” Hammons, age 55, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Long Beach. She was born in Gulfport and was a lifelong resident of Long Beach. She was Baptist. She was a legal secretary and enjoyed her plants, collecting what-nots and she loved her cat, Gage. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Ann Hammons; a brother, Donnie Hammons, Jr.; grandparents, Doris Kennedy Cook, Homer Moody and Henry and Juanita Hammons. She is survived by her son, Justin Dale Hammons; two sisters, Lindy Hammons, Kelli Hammons-Jones (Robert); a brother, Terry Hammons; her father, Donnie Hammons all of Long Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Long Beach Town Green on Jeff Davis Avenue in Long Beach where Ronnie Hammons, Jr. will officiate and sing.
