Thomas Edward DeLang, age 58, died May 17th, 2012, at Ocean Springs Hospital from complications following admission for pneumonia.
Tom was born in Rockford Illinois on August 22, 1953.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and began his career in the Casino Industry with Harrah’s, Reno Nevada. Tom was one of the team who opened the President Casino in Biloxi and worked for various casino’s in Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Laughlin NV, before relocating to Mississippi. He worked at the Grand, IP, and Hard Rock during his life in Mississippi. His one other love was golf.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty DeLang.
He is survived by Veneranda DeLang, wife, Alejandra Davis, daughter and spouse Louis, granddaughter Victoria, Ocean Springs, father Edward, Lakeland, FL. brothers Michael and spouse Phyllis, Golden CO., Daniel and spouse Ann, Rockford IL, sister Becky and spouse David, Orlando, FL, also several nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, May 24, 2012, there will be a 4 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
