Tracie Anderson Auxier

On the evening of June 20, 2015, Tracie Marie Auxier was called home to be with her parents. Born on June 11, 1967 in Gulfport, Tracie called the Gulf Coast her home. After losing her home in Katrina, Tracie resided for several years in Tunica, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents Claude Gilbert Anderson and Dorothy Brown Anderson, maternal grandparents, William and Marie Brown, paternal grandparents, F.L. and Edith Anderson. She is survived by her step-sister, Ronda Clark, her uncles, Frank Anderson (Joan) of Ocean Springs, Danny Anderson (Glenda) of Gulfport, Wayne Anderson of Leakesville, her loving Aunt Janice Anderson Hathcock (Mark) of Gulfport and numerous cousins whom she loved so dearly, and countless friends. She also leaves behind her precious pets that she loved like children: Biggin, Chloe, Charlie, Lil Man, Romeo, Mimi, Reggie, and LuLu. Tracie lived life to the fullest making each day count. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. All who were lucky enough to know Tracie will miss her unique personality and her flair for life. The family would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. David Graham, who Tracie knew as “Favorite,” Glenda Tresbeck at the IP Casino, Driftwood Nursing Home, and her special nurses on floor 5C at Memorial Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, where visitation will be held for family from 4:30 to 5:00 and friends may visit from 5:00 – 6:00. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation.
