Mrs. Trixie Lee King Johnson, 97, of Long Beach died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Gulfport. Mrs. Johnson was born in Piney Flats, TN and had been a resident of the Coast since 1979. She was a member of First United Methodist Chuch, Long Beach. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. "Charlie" Johnson, Sr. and two grandsons, Scott Knight and Danny Knight. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Carson of Long Beach; a son, Morris Johnson and his wife, Gerry, of Gulfport; four grandchildren, Donna Keating and and her husband, Hugh, Terry D'Angelo and her husband, Joey, Karen Lanning and Cindy Johnson; eight great grandchildren, Erin, Dennis and Daniel Keating; Micky, Robby and Anthony D'Angelo; April Peleaz and Raven Lanning and six great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
