Vera Ann Raymond Mullen, 78, born April 10, 1938, died peacefully on March 14, 2017, at Ocean Springs Hospital in Mississippi. She was a member of Cedar Lake United Methodist Church where she accepted her Lord and Savior.
She had many names, Ann, Mamma, and Aunt Ann, but her greatest title was Nanny to her grand, great grandchildren and so many others. They were her world and she loved them with all her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Jether Raymond; sister, Doris Waits; and her grandparents who raised her, Wiley and Gertrude Bounds.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald J. Mullen; daughters, Julie Alley and Terri (Howard) Langson; son, Donnie (Jeannie) Mullen; grandchildren, Amber (Zach) Brumley, Donald H. (Kelly) Mullen, Ben (Amanda) Sullivan and Brianne (Steven) Thomas; 12 great grandchildren; and dozens of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Cedar Lake United Methodist Church in Biloxi on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm with Reverend Bess Perrier officiating. Burial will be at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Lake United Methodist Church Building Fund, 12332 Cedar Lake Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
