Victoria Elizabeth (Speed) Scharnhorst

Victoria Elizabeth (Speed) Scharnhorst, born August 6, 1957, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2014. Vicki was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs, MS. She passed away Sunday morning, after battling Leukemia. Vicki, one of two children born to the late John and Gloria Speed; she was the beloved wife of Steve Scharnhorst. Vicki will forever be remembered by her adoring son, Michael Jenifer and her late son, John Aaron Thomas. Vicki will be forever cherished by her loving sister, Brenda Mitchell, by her nieces, Lauren and Sarah Mitchell and granddaughter, Gabriella Jenifer, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Vicki loved being surrounded by family and friends and touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Vicki was an angel on earth and her memory will live on in everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and encourage them to donate blood in lieu of flowers, as it helps save the lives of countless people battling blood diseases. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home from 6:30pm - 9:00 pm. A memorial service will be held Thursday December 11, 2014 at 10:00 am at Northside Assembly on Lemoyne Blvd. in D’Iberville.
