Vinnette Trochesset Camp Fallo

Surrounded by her family, Vinnette Trochesset Camp Fallo passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 92 in Biloxi. A lifelong citizen of Biloxi, Vinnette went against the grain and was an extremely successful businesswoman, best known for her accomplishments as active co-owner and president of F&F Distributing Company. Although a tough businesswoman, Vinnette had a generous and loving heart and loved spending time with family and contributed to numerous charitable organizations in the area. Vinnette had a great sense of humor and stayed very active her entire life. A lover of travelling, she saw the world with her late sister, Iris Trochesset Fountain, and loved sharing her colorful stories and pictures about her travels with all that would listen. She was very proud of her accomplishments on the golf course – her late husband Tony Fallo and her were long time members of Sunkist Country Club and were named Mr. & Mrs. Club Champions on June 15, 1975. As a part of F&F Distributing Company, Vinnette enjoyed being a member of the GCCA and numerous other Mardi Gras Krewes. Vinnette reigned as Queen of St. John’s Ball in 1939 and as Queen of Young Matrons in the late 1950s. In her later years, Vinnette enjoyed spending time at Boomtown Casino. Vinnette was preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Antonia (Illich) Trochesset; husbands, Leo Camp and Anthony “Tony” Fallo; brother, Oliver Trochesset; sister, Iris Trochesset Fountain; brother-in-law, Curtis Fountain; step-son, AJ Fallo, Jr.; stepdaughters, Barbara Fallo Ferrill and Rose Fallo Colbert; and step-grandson, Kevin Colbert. Survivors include daughters, Gail Camp St. Amant and Toni Fallo (Greg) Coale; grandchildren, Julie Dubaz, Laurie Dubaz, Melissa St. Amant (Lex) Galle, Raymond St. Amant, Nicole St. Amant (John) Graham, and Jacqueline Coale; great-grandchildren, Jarred Arde’, Mardi Gollott, Alexis Galle III, Patrick Galle, and Christopher Henderson II; sister-in-law, Irma Trochesset; stepson, Tom Ferrill; step-grandchildren, Tommy Ferrill II, Pam Ferrill, Chris Ferrill, Kim Ferrill Moseley and Maria Travis. The family would like to thank Dr. Marion Wainwright and her entire staff as well as the staff at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral, where friends may visit 1 hour prior to service time.
