Virgie Mae Henry Davis

Virgie Mae Henry Davis, 95, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Davis was a native of Texas and a resident of the coast since 1970. She retired from the Ocean Springs Public School System where she worked in the cafeteria. Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Davis, Jr. Mrs. Davis’ survivors include her daughters, Robbie D. (Sharon) Davis and Linda (Joseph) Spears; her sons, Claude (Mary) Hendricks and Eddie Joe James, Sr.; her sister, Frankie James; and her granddaughters, Heather (Steven) Morris and Melissa (Cameron) Kuhlman. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Mississippi Chapter, 1900 Dunbarton Dr. Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
