Mrs. Vivian Cecile Foster, age 85, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Vivian was a lifelong resident of the coast and a devout Catholic. She was an excellent seamstress and was known for her many costumes and gowns for Mardi Gras Balls.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Sonnier, parents, George and Odette Landry, brother, Carroll Landry and a granddaughter, Sandi Steffe.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert E. "Dick" Foster, three daughters, Nora Steffe, Darlene Previto and Denise Smallwood, son, Frederick "Rick" Sonnier, step-son, Pat Foster, two sisters, Bertha Sadowski and Mary Joyce Skinner, 7 grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 36 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 31, 2014, from 1pm ~ 3pm, with a 3pm Mass of Christian Burial, all at Nativity BVM Cathedral. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. A reception to follow at Sacred Heart Center behind Nativity Cathedral.
