Walter Louis Guillot, IV, 24, the beloved son of Dr. Walter and Robin Guillot, III, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 20, 2014, as a result of a sudden onset of viral myocarditis.
Walter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Walter Guillot, Jr. and Blanche (Terry) Guillot of Gulfport, and John M. Dunnam of Madison, MS.
Along with his parents, Walter is survived by his adoring sister, Chloe Guillot and his maternal grandmother, Hazel Dunnam of Madison, MS. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Vickie (Ronnie) Voll, Dr. John (Lillian) Guillot, Monique Guillot, Dr. Jacques (Jacqueline) Guillot, Ms. Kim Brooks, and Ms. Nina Lott, along with a host of cousins and great aunts and uncles, whom he loved dearly.
Walter graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Walter had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes on those he cared about. At family gatherings, Walter usually could be found surrounded by his cousins, entertaining with his humorous antics. His hobbies included bike riding, playing the bass guitar, and fast cars.
Walter was loved by so many and his bright smile will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Gulfport. Walter’s funeral will be at 12:00 noon with interment at Floral Hills in Gulfport.
