Walter V. Tiblier

Walter Tiblier, Sr., age 76, of Biloxi, died Tuesday, September 23, 2012. Walter was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He loved fishing, crabbing, shrimping and camping, but most of all he loved the outdoors and playing the guitar with family and friends. Walter served in the US Navy and in the National Guard. He was a dedicated husband, loving daddy and caring grandpawpaw. He was the most honest, caring, loving, big hearted man, who will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace. We love you. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Virgie Mallette Tiblier and his brother, Curtis Mallette. His survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Myrna Prevost Tiblier; his daughter, Gadis (Pete) Zeigler of Perkinston, MS; his son, Walter V. (Robin) Tiblier, Jr. of Biloxi, MS; two sisters, Judy Ross and Beverly Chester, both of Biloxi, MS; two brothers, Wallace Tiblier of Vancleave, MS and Larry Tiblier of Biloxi, MS; four grandchildren, Evan, Tyler, Stephanie and Kyle; and four great grandchildren, Asher, Olivia, Koltin and Ethan. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS 39568.
