Wanda Aflague

Wanda Aflague, 79, of Biloxi, passed away Tuesday, July 09, 2013. Wanda was a loving, caring, faithful and hardworking mother with a wonderful sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose’ Aflague; parents, Matt & Lottie Smith, and S.D. Brookins, and daughter, Cynthia Aflague. Mrs. Aflague is survived by her sons, John and Joe Aflague; daughters, Mary Horick and Theresa Aflague; aunt, Nettie Hill; grandchildren, Lindsey Bryant, Laine Crowe, Sarah and Matthew Horick, and Mark and Justin Wetzel, and great grandchildren, Brynn Bryant and Kamdyn Crowe. The family wishes to thank the staff at Keesler Medical Center, Gentiva Hospice, and her caregivers and friends for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, The Kidney Foundation, or Gentiva Hospice.
