Wayne May

Wayne May, age 66, of Long Beach passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Long Beach. He was the owner- operator of the Dog-n-Burger in Gulfport for 44 years and a member of the Restaurant and Beverage Association for many years. He was a member of the 4-H Club as a rifle instructor. He loved the outdoors: camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Irene May; a daughter, Shelley May; and sisters, Helen, Virginia, Ann and Sandra. Mr. May is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Terry May; a daughter, Cassandra Shaw (Shad); sisters, Paulette Poole and Vera Mallette; five grandchildren, Mallisa May, Anthony, Ashlyn, Aleece, and Amberlee Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dogs, April and Suzy and cat, Smuttly; Terry’s siblings, Dixie, Alan( Paula), Dawn, Shawn (David), and Shan. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the American Lung Association of MS, P.O.
