On August 20, 2013, Webster George Lee was taken to his heavenly home surrounded by his loving family. His family witnessed a peaceful and dignified journey to heaven, in the same way he lived his life. He was born on January 7, 1932, to George and Theozia Lee in Henry, Louisiana. He later moved to Biloxi, Mississippi with his parents. Webster was a 1950 graduate of Notre Dame High School where he lettered in football. He served in the US Navy on the USS Corregidor, USS Monteray, USS Franklin D. Roosevelt and USS Cabot. Webster attended Emory Riddle School of Aviation graduating in the top 10 of his class. It was there he discovered his love of hydraulics which became his life-long profession and passion. He also holds many specialist certifications in the hydraulic and pneumatic field. Webster is the owner of Gulf Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Inc. in D’Iberville Mississippi, established in 1958. He served on the boards of the Biloxi Regional Medical Center, the Harrison County Planning Commission and the D’Iberville Water and Sewer. He was also a charter member of the D’Iberville Community Club and a member of the North Biloxi Jaycees. Webster was a 4th degree member of the Father McAlpine Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Theozia Broussard Lee; his sisters, Joanna Lee and Helen Lee Barras; and his brothers Erving Lee and Veen Lee. Webster was married to the love of his life Delores Tiblier Lee for 62 years. Their marriage was blessed with five daughters: Joanna (Kim) Letort, Terri (P.E.) Fournier, Gina (Jack) Weaver, Robin (Mark) Fayard and Amy(Phil) Lechner. His Fountain of Youth were his 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Brandi (Travis) Paige, Kimberly (Shane) Trosclair, Dr. Kristin Weaver, Eric (Cherie) Fournier, Christopher (Mandy) Letort, Jack (Cagney) Weaver, Mark Fayard, Trent Lechner and his “my little honey” Alivia Lechner. Great Grandchildren: Brodie Travis Paige, Kathryn Joanna Trosclair, Presley Lynn Paige, Shane Elizabeth Trosclair, Peyton Eric Fournier, Bailee Lynn Letort, Perrin Lee Fournier and Jaclynn Channing Weaver. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Bradford O’Keefe on Howard Avenue, Biloxi from 5PM – 9PM with Rosary beginning at 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10AM on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lemoyne Blvd., D’Iberville with instate visitation from 9AM – 10AM and final resting at D’Iberville Memorial Park on Gorenflo Road. Delores and daughters give a heart felt “thank you” for the love and guidance of their “hero” Webster to:Dr. Johnny Mallett, and Dr. Jimmy Alexander. They would also like to thank the following for their loving care: Dr. McKee , Dr. Petersen, Dr. Valerie Lenox, Dr. Magiros and the staffs of Southern Care and SADDS Home Health.
