Wilborn Farrell Williams, 75, of Woolmarket passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
Mr. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Woolmarket. He was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge #416 of Perkinston, MS. He served in the United States Army. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was loved by everyone he knew.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Myrtis Williams; and his first wife of 45 years, Janice.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 9 years, Bobbie Williams; son, Greg Williams and his wife, Shannon, of Benndale; daughters, Denise O’Neal and her husband, Jeffrey, of Wiggins, Pamela Morrison and her husband, Peter, of Woolmarket and Julie Redden and her husband, Kenny, of Woolmarket; brothers, Marshall (Bob) Williams, Bill Williams, Wayne Williams and Joe B. Williams; 14 grandchildren, Christi (Joe), Daniel, Holly, Dexter, and Leslie O’Neal, Casey (Brad), Megan (Logan), Dustin and Dallas Williams, Forrest and Amy Morrison, Matthew, Jessica (Marco) and Katie Rettig; 4 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Lauren, Aubrie, and Haven; Bobbie’s 5 children, Cindy, David, James, Karen and Ken; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Mr. Williams will lie in-state at Woolmarket Baptist Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014, with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at White Plains Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Daniel O’Neal, Matthew Rettig, Dexter O’Neal, Forrest Morrison, Joe Harrison, and Marco Dobson-Smith. Honorary Pallbearers: Dustin and Dallas Williams.
