William C. “Bill” Harmon II, 59, of St. Martin Community died on Thursday, October 25, 2012. Mr. Harmon was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in D’Iberville. Mr. Harmon was also a member of the North Bay area Mardi Gras Association, MS Gulf Coast Honor Flight and a volunteer for the Gulf Coast Women’s Center for Non-Violence as an usher at the IP Casino.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Wayne Wells.
Mr. Harmon is survived by his wife, Joyce Holloman Harmon; daughter, Delicia (Fred) Presley of Franklin Creek, MS; son, Richard “Ricky” (Sharette) Nicely, Jr. of Biloxi; sister, Shirley Gowen of Flovilla, GA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Shane, Matthew, Phillip, Lauren, Ben, Danielle, Kendall, Karly and Papa’s special boy, Nicholas.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church in D’Iberville. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
