William O. Krause, Sr.

William O. Krause, Sr., 90, of Biloxi, MS passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Biloxi. Mr. Krause was a native of New Orleans, LA and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Krause retired from the Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base after 20 years of service. He was past commander and life member of VFW Post 2434, lifelong member, past president and treasurer of the Fleur de Lis Society and life member of the Masonic Lodge #120 in Biloxi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob M. and Edna Louise Krause; and six siblings. Mr. Krause’s survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ann Krause; his sons, William (Cynthia) Krause and Robert (Delane) Krause; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Alex and Jacob. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the Biloxi V.A. caregivers, especially the hospice unit. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Leggett United Methodist Church, 1410 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39530. Funeral Services will be held at Leggett United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
