Mr. William M. “Billy” Dugan, Jr., age 80, of North Biloxi, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 with his family by his side.
Mr. Dugan was born June 13, 1934 in Shuqualak, MS. He served in the Marine Corp and retired from Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula after 25 years.
Mr. Dugan is preceded in death by his parents, William Max Dugan, Sr. and Cornelia Webb Dugan; and daughter, Wanda King Debije.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Groue Dugan of Biloxi, MS; children, Janie Marie (Darryl) Bailey of Memphis, TN, Katherine Halula of Hattiesburg, MS, Emily Susan (Billy) Hughes of Trophy Club, TX, Bridgett Dugan of Gautier, MS, Monroe (Ruth) Dugan of Montgomery, AL, Adam (Terri) Dugan of Springfield, GA, and Nathan (Nona) Dugan of Biloxi, MS; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia McWhorther of Roanoke, VA; brother, Robert J. Dugan of Escatawpa, MS; neighbor, John Mason; and many more friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Sacred Heart Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D’Iberville, MS 39540.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Groue Cemetery in North Biloxi. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
