Willis Joseph Sinigal, 83, of Ocean Springs, MS died Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Sinigal was born in Lafayette, LA and was a resident of the coast for the last 55 years. He was veteran of the U.S. Navy, a boxer, a mason and a member of the Biloxi Elks with the Vernon Gilbert Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Wallace Sinigal; and his sister, Leona Mae Sinigal.
His survivors include his wife, Shirley Mae Wallace Sinigal his daughters, Pamela Elaine (Steven) Esters, Betsy Ann (Joseph) Ferrell and Pastor Daphne Lynne McNeal; his sons, Hershel Joseph Sinigal, Lance Gordon Sinigal and Norris Wayne Sinigal; his sisters, Anna Lee Bryant and Lena Rose Traylor; his brother, Lenix Synagogue; and his grandchildren, Adwin C., Avory L. and Aaron M. Esters, Jennifer Sinigal, Lance and Jamie Miller, Cavell Bryant, Gabriel Sinigal, Eden and Caleb McNeal, Jarred Weldy and Julian Ferrell, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
