Winfred “Charlie” Roger Brown, age 78, of Biloxi died Monday, March 20, 2017 in Gulfport.
Mr. Brown served our nation in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching coverage on politics, sports, history shows and was an avid court room observer. He also enjoyed visiting with friends at Woolmarket Grocery, petting his cats and giving snacks to his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Julia Bernice Brown; sons, David Roger Brown and John Robert Williams, Jr.; daughter, Janet Kay Williams; four granddaughters, Kayla, Holly, Julia, Jessie; four grandsons, Jacob, Jared, Jordin, Jace; sisters, Harriet Ann Crow, Ellen Yvonne Woodward; brothers, Howard “Duck” Brown, and Randle Brown
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Alva Wooten Brown; father, Benjamin T. Brown, Sr; sisters, Alice Patricia Brumley, Frances Virginia Brown; brothers, B T “Bo” Brown, and Roy “W” Brown.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Woolmarket Cemetery.
