Zeolide Deloney Scarborough

Mrs. Zeolide Deloney Scarborough, 98, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Scarborough was a native and lifelong resident of the Latimer Community. She was a member of McClellan Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Scarborough is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Scarborough; her daughter, Hilda Scarborough; her son, Lester Scarborough; her sister, Bertha Brodnax; her brothers, Alva Deloney and H.W. Deloney; and her granddaughter, Sheryl Lynn Drawdy. Survivors include her daughters, Vivian (Lewis) Drawdy, and Lucille (William) Kinney; her sons, Oscar (Helen) Scarborough and Charles (Charlotte) Scarborough; her sister, Edwina Balius; her brother, Earl Deloney; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Bobbie and Darrell Ferguson and Gloria Broom and her daughter, Barbara Ann. Funeral Services will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at White Plains Cemetery.
