Adam Kozlowski, Jr., 92, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Kozlowski was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He served in the U.S. Army and was a shrimper for most of his life on his boat, the Sheila K. Mr. Kozlowski was very generous with his catch during shrimping and would provide seafood to those in need. He worked with the Biloxi Port Commission during the end of his working career. Mr. Kozlowski boxed professionally, as well as in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Kozlowski; his parents, Adam and Ethel Kozlowski; his sisters, Jane Schaitel and Shirley Walker; and his brother, Wayne Kozlowski.
Mr. Kozlowski’s survivors include his daughters, Sonja (Mike) Cox of Vancleave and Sheila (Robert) Kennedy of Ocean Springs; his sons, Adam (Mary) Kozlowski of Biloxi, Brian (Norma) Kozlowski of D’Iberville, Kenny (Cyndee) Kozlowski of Biloxi and Anthony Kozlowski of Ocean Springs; his sisters, Evelyn Knitter of Indiana and Nancy (Eugene) Henry of Biloxi; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
