Allene “Billie” Wolf, age 89, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Billie was born in Milo, KS, which no longer exists. She moved around in her life, spending her first 30 years in Wichita, KS and later Mobile, AL, Arlington, TX, Denver, CO, Pensacola, FL and Gulf Shores, AL and a resident of Diamondhead, MS for the past 11 years. Billie was an outgoing person. She was a member of the Gulf Coast Red Hats, the Crown Jewels of D’Nile and the Crew of Venus.
As a young woman, Billie was a rivetor during World War II. In her lifetime she worked in retail, part owner of restaurants in Pensacola, FL and publishing in Mobile, AL and Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jad Wolf; her mother, Lela Goodman; and her brothers, Larry Goodman and Kee Goodman.
Billie was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jan Wolf; and her brother, Francis Goodman of Denver, CO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Jacobs Well Baptist Church in Pass Christian. Friends and loved ones are invited to have the opportunity to speak of how Billie’s life affected them.
