Amanda Elaine McCarty

Amanda Elaine McCarty, age 38, of Saucier, MS passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family and went to be with Jesus her Savior. Amanda was born on November 27, 1979 in Biloxi, MS. She attended D’Iberville High School. Amanda enjoyed spending time with her children, her dog, Blue and her best friend, Demetric Hathorn. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eric and Mary McCarty and Roy and Margie Groue. Amanda's survivors include her parents, Eric and Karen McCarty; her children, Devin and Haydn Hathorn; her brother, John Korn, III; and her dog, Blue. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Bethel Hill Baptist Church members, Kare-In-Home Hospice nurse aide, Sheila; and nurse, Alesha. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Bethel Hill Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS at 1pm. Friends may visit from 12-1pm. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
