Andrew James Romano passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in Vicksburg, MS on April 5, 1936, Andy came from humble beginnings. He worked his way through the University of Southern Mississippi, double majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics, with a minor in Physics. Upon retiring as a GS-15 Andy set up his own consulting firm, working with the Marine Corps and Army on life cycle cost estimating. Officially retiring in 2005, Andy moved to Biloxi, MS.
Andy was a bit eccentric and full of ideas. He always had a list of things he was going to do. He liked the water, buying a boat and a beach front condo.
He is survived by his daughter Jackie whom he dearly loved, his son-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and his cousin Jack, who was like a brother to him.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi at 11:00 a.m.
