Ann Elizabeth Hopkins Peneguy

Ann Elizabeth Hopkins Peneguy, age 80, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on April 23, 2021. Ann was a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Gulfport. She was an exceedingly kind and loving parent and lived her life for her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Ann had the respect of everyone who knew her and was loved by everybody. She passed at USA Hospital of Alabama and will be missed dearly. Ms. Ann has joined her husband of more than 25+ years and is finally at rest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Peneguy; and mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Josephine Hopkins. She is survived by her children, Thomas “Tommy”, Lisa, Eugene, and Sean Peneguy; grandkids, Charles Lafontaine, Ann Smith, Shawna Peneguy, Sean Peneguy, Jr., Shelby Clark, Destiny and Anthony Peneguy, Heather and Justin Arnold, Marykay and Kaylee Karl, and Heather and Haley Ferrill; and 22 surviving great-grandkids; also Bow, Manny and White Dog (cannot leave out her Pets). The service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church, Long Beach. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Ann will be placed in the columbarium at Biloxi National Cemetery following the service.
