Anneliese F. Lyons, age 92, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021. Anneliese lived in Biloxi with her husband, John E. Lyons Jr. for the past 27 years. Before that they lived in Germany together, and were married for 55 years. Anneliese was born in Nowa Sol, Germany and is preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Selma Mueller. Anneliese had a 4-year College education and received medals and accolades in swimming, soccer, and gymnastics.
She spoke multiple languages and worked on numerous translation projects both professionally and privately.
Anneliese loved gardening and was known for having a “green thumb”. She loved reading which was evident if you ever visited her in her library with over 1,000 books. She was quite the conversationalist and enjoyed deep subject content and told long, detailed stories that were fascinating.
She was a member of the German Club and Symphony Guild. Anneliese was an animal lover, Conservationist and lover of the Arts.
Survivors include her loving husband, John E. Lyons Jr., 2 step-children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Many heartfelt thanks to Family, neighbors, hospice care and caregivers for their loving support and care during these challenging months.
She will be missed by all that knew her.
