Arleeta Fountain Moran, age 78, of St. Martin, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
Arleeta was born on October 30, 1940 and was a life-long resident of the St. Martin community. She was a wonderful, loving and caring person. She was the best mom, sister, grandma and friend anyone could ever have. Her family was her first priority. She had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Catholic faith. Her yard was an important part of her life and it had to be done to her specifications. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Arleeta was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Moran; daughter, Amy Moran Castera; parents, Edgar Fountain (SOC) and Odell Fountain; and brothers, Lowell Fountain, Gerard Fountain and Randy Fountain.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Beaugez and Renee (Tommy) Brown; grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Danielle Brown, Jared Castera (Whitney), Jacob Castera and Todd Castera; great grandchild, Gunner Brown; one great granddaughter on the way, Gracelyn Brown; sister, Kathy Fountain; sister-in-law, Janet Fountain; three special boys that she embraced as her grandchildren, Ian Ellzey, Eli Ellzey and Rowan Richard; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 12pm. Friends may visit from 10am-12pm. Burial will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
