Audrey Lillian Saucier of Pass Christian died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 27, 1933 and was a lifetime resident of Pass Christian.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Alphonse Cuevas and Laura Emma (Dobson) Cuevas; her husband, Earvis Joseph Saucier; lifelong friend, Willie Malley, Jr. (Papa); and her brothers, Howard Cuevas and Vearl Cuevas.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Etta Lea Dubuisson; her son, Douglas Earvis Saucier (Cheryl); her bonus son, Raymond Fitzgerald (Sharon); her granddaughter, Amy Deserae Saucier (Adam); her grandson, Joshua Keith Saucier (Marie); her great grandchildren, Thomas Snyder, Dustin Snyder, Shawn Snyder, Skye Snyder, Sarah Saucier, Michael Saucier, Connor Synder, Brandon Saucier, Hunter Havard, Emma Snyder, Hannah Saucier, Meagan Saucier, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Audrey retired from Pass Christian Industries and enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, playing cards, playing slots, cooking, sewing, watching Lifetime and Hallmark, and enjoyed the New Orleans Saints.
The family wishes to thank St. Joseph Hospice and family and friends for their comfort and care shown in her final days. Also, to thank Bubba Lang and his staff for their friendship, kindness and support at this difficult time.
Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2020 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:00PM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where friends may visit beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
