Bertha Taylor Baker Blondiau

Bertha Blondiau, age 86, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 after a long illness. Ms. Blondiau was a longtime resident of Biloxi and Gretna, LA. After retiring from her business, she moved back to her hometown area of Ocean Springs. She spent many hours creating the most beautiful quilts, which she made with colorful fabrics, thread, batting, but most of all, she made them with love. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Annie Waltman; her siblings; and the love of her life, her husband, Leon Blondiau. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Baker, Cathy Mitchell, Monroe (Christine) Baker, Tommy (Stephanie) Baker, and Jamie Savoie; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Stateroom, with a procession to Biloxi City Cemetery directly after.
