Betty Blankenship Pylate

Betty Blankenship Pylate, age 79, of Lucedale, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Betty was born and raised in Biloxi and graduated from Biloxi High School in 1957. She retired from Piltz, Williams, LaRosa & Company. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, M.D. and Flora Quave Blankenship; daughter, Penny P. Turner; and brother Billy Blankenship. Survivors include her children, Jami Rocco Chambliss and Kenny Pylate, Sr.; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
