Bill Collum

Bill Collum Sr, age 65 of Biloxi, passed into the presence of his Lord on Thursday, the 29th of October. Bill was born on the 18th of December in 1954 in Corning, NY. In his 65 years, Bill was a farmer, Airman, car salesman, insurance salesman, advertising salesman, factory worker, shipping and logistics expert, and most recently a ride-share driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with those that he loved. Above all, he was a loving Christian husband, father, grandfather, and friend who would always put others first. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Wilton and Mary Lou Collum and sister Rose Mary (O’Bryan) Rook. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rebecca Lynn (Brooks) Collum; son Bill Collum Jr. and daughter-in-law, Stephanie (Harris) Collum; daughter Brenda (Collum) Ellis and son-in-law Timothy Ellis; Grandchildren Alyssa Collum, Kyra (Collum) Cornelson (husband Robert Cornelson), Liam Collum, Warren Collum, Gabriel Ellis, Kiersten Ellis, and James Ellis; brothers Allen Collum, Philip Collum, Jesse O'Bryan, and David O'Bryan, sisters LuAnn (Collum) Petersen, Lynette (Collum) Wales, Cynthia (O’Bryan) Fuller, Norma (O’Bryan) Cummings, Lillian (O’Bryan) Buckley, and Caroline (O’Bryan) McIlwain; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and those who might as well have been family, because that’s how he thought of them. A memorial service for Bill will take place at Bay Vista Baptist Church, on Pass Road in Biloxi, MS in late December. The memorial will be available for viewing online through the church’s YouTube channel for those who are unable to make the journey to Biloxi. Bill’s remains will be interred at the Biloxi National Cemetery at a time to be determined. Donations to assist the family with funeral expenses can be made via https://www.gofundme.com/f/mwayge-funeral-expense-assistance?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1.
