Bobbie Graves Sweeney

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Graves Sweeney, age 86, of Laurel, MS passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Mrs. Sweeney was born on January 9, 1931 in Covington County, MS. She graduated from Jones County Jr. College, worked at Maison Blanche in New Orleans, and Paulettes Fashions and retired from Masonite Federal Credit Union. She loved golf, cooking, high heels and taught swimming lessons. Mrs. Sweeney was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Clara Cranford Graves. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Don Sweeney, and daughter, Vickie (Dr. Louis A. ) Rubenstein, grandchildren, Jay Michael (Eden) Rubenstein and Ryan (Dana) Rubenstein, great-grandchildren, Isabella, Elaina and Nash Rubenstein, siblings, Jack (Johnette) Graves, nephews, Gary Graves and Wayne (Mary Margaret) Graves, great-niece, Sarah Graves, and great-nephew, Will Graves and her beloved dog, Sasha. Services will be held at a later date. The family would like to send a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Deaconess Hospice and to Terry Watters, Sharon Casey and Mike for their love and support. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
