Bobby Fayard Sr.

Bobby Fayard Sr., age 65, of D'Iberville, MS, gained his wings on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 and moved on to meet his Heavenly Father. Bobby was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer and turkey hunting as well as hunting with his dogs. He enjoyed coaching many sports including baseball, football, softball, and basketball. He was a mentor and father figure to many young people in our community. Bobby was preceded in death by Lester and Ruth Fayard, Mildred Foster, Maryanne Weeks, Steve and Eula Barhonovich, Charlie Foster, Ricky Fayard Sr., Lil' Ricky Fayard and Phillip Fayard. Survivors include his loving wife, Starlette Fayard, 3 children, Darnell Fayard Sheffield (Danny), Joleen Fayard Sanders, Bobby Fayard Jr. (April), 5 grandchildren, Drew, Savana, Hunter, River, and Noah, 3 great-grandchildren, Aubreigh Claire, Drew, and Beaux, siblings, David Fayard (Diana), Wendy Fayard, Candy Fayard, Marti Fayard Walker (Colt), Heather Fayard Keith, Allen Fayard and Billy McClellan (his soul brother and best friend), an uncle, Irvin Fayard (Louise) and aunt, Billie Joy Barhanovich Tucei (Bob), as well as many loved nieces and nephews. On Friday, November 17, there will be a 10:30 am graveside service in Vancleave #1 Cemetery on Jim Ramsay Road. Following the service family and friends are invited to a reception at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave, 12513 Highway 57, Vancleave.
