Brenda Hebert Elmer

Brenda Hebert Elmer, age 76, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Ms. Elmer retired as a CIC and Account Manager with Bancorp South Insurance in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi and was a lifelong resident of Gulfport, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Augusta Williams Hebert; brother, Reginald “Reggie” Hebert; sister, Janelle Bass; sister, Carolyn “Babydoll” Fowlkes; and grandson, Jason Elmer. She is survived and missed by her daughters, Sheilah Elmer, Kelli Spiehler, and Ashley Grogg; brother, Mark Hebert; her grandchildren, Joseph Elmer, Jordan Elmer, Natalie Warner Britt, Skye Spiehler, Hayden Grogg, Hannah-Grace Grogg; and great-grandson, Bentley Britt. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Deacon Henderson at St. James Catholic Church, as well as, Matthew Dubaz at Bradford-O’Keefe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint James Catholic Church in Gulfport on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11am. Visitation will be held in the church from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
