Bruce Alan Galba

Bruce Alan Galba, Sr. recently of Biloxi, MS left this world on February 10, 2021 to enjoy his new and everlasting life with Christ. Bruce was born June 4, 1954 in McKees Rock, PA. He was a proud graduate of Sto-Rox High and went on to attend Duquesne University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and also his M.B.A. Bruce married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Adams. For forty-four years they enjoyed their life together in Pittsburgh, Memphis, and finally retirement in Biloxi. Bruce loved his Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He adored time with his family on the beach with a cold beer, a colorful kite, and his headphones playing Dave Matthews Band. One of his favorite past times was golfing weekly with his friends in the IP Golf League. And don’t forget all those Saturday’s in Auburn watching his Auburn Tigers play at Jordan-Hare. Bruce was a quiet man who said what he meant and always set a strong example. His words were few but always meaningful. He was a loving, caring, and generous husband, father, brother, uncle, and Gramps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Katheryn Galba and Charles Galba. He is survived by his wife Nancy Adams Galba, his son Bruce Alan Galba Jr., his daughter Ashley Galba Hessell (Matthew), and his two precious grandchildren Abigail Grace Hessell and Matthew Bruce Hessell. Also, his brother Charles Hepler Galba Sr. (Terri), sister-in-law Joyce Galba Hatcher, and his niece and nephew Karen Galba McCuean and Charles Hepler Galba Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in Bruce’s name in the form of contributions to St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi, where friends can visit one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Cemetery, Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is honored to serve the Galba family.
