Brunella Marie Crochet went to her eternal home on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
Brunella was a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, residing in Biloxi since 1967. She worked in the Grand Casino in Biloxi upon its opening and continued working for nineteen years when her health began to decline. She enjoyed meeting new people and never met a stranger. She was well known for her kindness and happy demeanor.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Leo Frank Crochet; her son, Dwayne Michael Crochet; her parents, Edward Pellegrin, Jr. and Cornelia Chaisson Pellegrin; her sisters, Albiana Mary Chaisson and Rita Marie Bergeron; her brothers, Armand Joseph Pellegrin, Edward Pellegrin, Jr., and Roy Pellegrin.
Mrs. Crochet is survived by her daughters, Debra Ann (Sargent) Burrus of Gulfport, MS; Charlene Ann (Ronnie) Myers of Ocean Springs, MS; son, Franklin David (Kelly) Crochet of Ocean Springs, MS; grandsons, Clinton McHugh II of Biloxi, MS; Nicholas (Sarah) McHugh of Mansfield, OH; Matthew David (Melissa) Crochet of Norfolk, VA; Jared Mark Crochet of Waveland, MS; Jackson and Garrett Crochet of Ocean Springs, MS; granddaughters, Jennifer (Jeff) DeVeronica of Long Beach, MS; Carly and JoLynn Myers of Ocean Springs, MS; Dawn Michelle Torries of Gulfport, MS; and Sally Reagan Crochet of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Joyce Cox of Gray, LA; seven great-grandsons; and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a 6:00 pm service. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1113 LA-55, Montegut, LA 70377.
