Calvin "Mac" McDonald Weaver, Jr.

Calvin “Mac” McDonald Weaver, Jr., age 74, passed away on April 10, 2021. Calvin was born on May 28, 1946 in Flomaton, Alabama. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Flomaton High School in 1964. He married in 1966 and served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969. He attended Troy State University and graduated in 1971. After graduating, he moved to Biloxi. Calvin worked as a sales representative for Ceco Engineering for eighteen years. Following his father’s death, he took over the metal building business Southeastern Erectors, which was started by him and his father in Alabama. He moved the business to Mississippi and continued to run it until his death. He was an active member of Heritage United Methodist church in D’Iberville, Les Badineurs, Les Pierrots, Antique Auto and Engine Club of Mississippi, Magnolia Model T Ford Club, and Old Biloxi Marching Club. He loved old Rock and Roll music, antique cars, Mardi Gras, and most of all his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by mother Lola White Weaver, father Calvin M. Weaver, and wife Ethel C. Weaver. He is survived by children Kevin (Kelly) M. Weaver and Wendy (Nathan) Denise Weaver Powell, grandchildren Justin (Paige) Powell, Devin Weaver, Mikayla (T.J.) Moran, and Hunter Powell, and siblings Catherine (Sonny) Jeter and Cora (Joe) Helen Brantley. He is also survived by great-grandchild Clayton Powell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Heritage United Methodist Church. Friends are invited to visit from 9:00 AM to the time of service. Interment will be at Flomaton Cemetery in Flomaton, Alabama at 3:00 PM. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Weaver family.
