Carlos Albert Barrera

Mr. Carlos Albert Barrera, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Carlos was born on October 25, 1950 in San Antonio, TX. He was a member of the Biloxi Art Association. He was a free-lance artist, was a cook and a baker, and worked at the Biloxi Library on Pass Road. Carlos was an avid reader. During his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, plants, classic movies, history, and love animals and nature. He enjoyed listening to music including, Bob Dylan, Santana, and Rolling Stones. Survivors include his children, Carlos Ramon Barrera; niece, Jordyn X. Lennon; nephew, James M. Lennon; sister, Maria R. Lennon; and pet turtle, Johnny. The family would like to extend a special thank you to NeoLife Physical Therapy and Wellness for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends may visit one-hour prior.
