Carol Arlene` Alleman

Carol Huffman Stonerock Alleman, age 78, of Biloxi MS, passed away peacefully in Memorial Hospital at Gulfport on 31 October 2017. She was born the youngest of 6 siblings on 23 January, 1939, in Busch, Arkansas to Ernest and Jennie Huffman. Early in life she followed one of her passions, singing. She attended Central Bible College and was a member of a gospel trio that traveled the country singing as ambassadors for the College and for God. Carol was active in First Baptist Church Biloxi, where she was a regular participant in worship services, Bible studies and Women’s Ministry activities. A highlight of her life was participating for several years in the the church’s Singing Christmas Tree. Professionally, she was a personal and legal secretary in both the New Orleans and Gulf Coast MS areas. She loved painting, working in her garden and enjoying time with her family. As a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a huge heart, her open arms touched everyone that knew her. Carol is survived by her husband Dr. Blaine Alleman, her sister Shirley Boehm, her sons Sean and Dakota Stonerock, daughter-in-law Hege Johnsen Stonerock, her granddaughters Alexis Stonerock and Amilla Johnsen-Qvist, grandson Liam Stonerock, great-grandson Benjamin Stonerock, former spouse Keith Stonerock, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Jennie Perkins Huffman, sisters Betty Mantooth and Wilma Robinson and brothers Ronald and Donald Huffman. Her family would like to give special thanks to Wanda Henson and Ann Taylor. They supported her in life and passing and were invaluable to her and her family providing love, care, assistance and friendship. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to be made to Second Mile Ministries at, First Baptist Church Biloxi, 1560 Popps Ferry Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532. A small private service was held on 1 November. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
