Carole Evon Richards Soper, age 75, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Mrs. Soper was born March 3, 1943 in Hardesty, OK to Gene and Glois Richards. She acquired her Associate's Degree as an X-Ray Technician, and worked at VA hospitals in Biloxi, MS and Oklahoma City, OK. Her hobbies included playing the piano, computers, nature, plants, and spending time with family.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Glois Richards.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, James Soper; daughter, Tennie “Candy” Brockmann; son, Bill "Peanut" Powers; son-in-law, Tom Brockmann; daughter-in-law, Kim Powers; grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, Monica, Jordan, and Tim; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Richards, Glowanda Morris, and Vickie Bratton; brother-in-law, Henry Migues; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and her dog, Carolyn.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., all at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall immediately following interment.
