Carolyn Ann Brown

On September 27, 2020, Carolyn Ann Brown, age 65, went home to be with the Lord in heaven, where she had the most joyous reunion with her mother Mary Evelyn Dronet, her father Harold K. Brown, and her brother Hal Brown. She is survived by her brothers Danny Brown of Homewood, AL and Andrew Brown of Summerville, S.C.; her sisters Patty Smith of Woolmarket, MS and Michelle Wales (Kevin) of Homewood, AL; her nephews Brandon Smith of D’Iberville, MS, Patrick Smith (Angela) of D’Iberville, MS, and Harris Wales of Homewood, AL; her nieces Courtney Smith of D’Iberville, MS, Sarah Wales of Homewood, AL, and Victoria Brown of Summerville, S.C.; her great nieces Olivia Wheeler and Charlotte Smith both of D’Iberville, MS; her precious Yorkie Piper; and many cousins she loved dearly. Carolyn was born in Biloxi, MS, and graduated from James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She spent most of her life helping to take care of others as a hospital aid and home health care giver. She had such a loving and giving heart and would do anything for anyone in need. She loved serving in the coffee shop at New Life Family Church, where she was surrounded by wonderful people who loved her and love the Lord! She moved into the Villa Maria community in Ocean Springs, MS in 2018, where she made several amazing friends who cared for her and with whom she shared her delicious gumbo, BBQ, and basically anything she cooked! She truly loved her family and friends, and she will forever be in our hearts. Her family will host a Celebration of Life Service in memory of Carolyn on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 am at New Life Family Church, 362 Popp’s Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS for all of her family and friends. A private graveside service for immediate family will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve this family.
