Charles “Chuck” Thomas Rogers, age 90, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
Chuck was born in Levelland, TX and was a longtime resident of the MS. Gulf Coast. As a child he dreamed of flying. At the age of 12 he would work around the airport for flying lessons. He served in the U.S. Marine as a World War II Veteran. He was a business owner and pilot. His hobbies included painting, sculpting, fishing and gun collecting. He was a member of the V.F.W. and N.R.A.
He is preceded in death by spouse Louise Rogers; parents William Roundtree Rogers and Jesse Sue Presgrove; sibling Idabell Sue Asbury.
Survivors include his caregiver and friend Christopher Lee Keckler; Nieces Scottie Asbury Smith and Cindi Asbury Sanchez; great nieces Jordan Smith and Erin Sanchez; and great nephews Andy Smith and Sonny Sanchez.
A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Friday, June 2nd 2017 at 2:30 pm. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
