Charles Edgar “Charlie” Partin, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017.
Charlie retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sargent Instructor Supervisor after serving in the Vietnam War. After retirement, he worked as a Calibration Technician at Stennis Space Center for over 20 years and for H&R Block as a Senior Tax Preparer in the local office. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Retired Activity Office at Keesler Air Force Base spent many hours assisting retirees with their inquiries and research.
Charlie was an avid hockey fan, a member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi and enjoyed volunteering his time for the St. Martin schools
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, C. Edward Partin and Juanita Pearl Partin; brothers, Jerry Gene and Ronald James Partin; son, Daniel Alan Partin; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Lee Partin.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Lou Partin; sons, Charles Keith (Cheryle), Kevin Eugene (Alice); daughters, Rachel Lynn Partin and Pearl Ann Gary (Tom); and his sister, Judith Kaye Booth; along with multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Per his request, there will not be a service at this time. The family will hold a memorial service in his honor at a later date.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
