Charlie Bush

Charlie Bush of Gautier, Mississippi passed away at age 70 on Friday December 4th, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Seminary, MS on October 14th 1950. Charlie attended Morton High School until graduation and in 1968 enlisted in the U.S. Army. He trained at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and upon completion served 2 tours in the Vietnam War from 1968-1971. After an honorable discharge, he worked many jobs ranging from Ingall’s Shipyard to a Dairy Fresh delivery driver. Charlie finally found his career and his home at the Chevron refinery Coker Plant in Pascagoula, MS and retired after more than 20 years on December 30, 2015. He was an avid lover of fishing and college football. He was preceded in death by his mother Willie V. Stewart and father Morgan Leander Bush. He leaves behind his wife Janice Bush, daughter Jennifer Bush Millette and son Charles Harrison Bush. He is also survived by grandchildren Genevieve Cooper Millette and Olivia Kaelynn Bush and his beloved cats Bad Kitty and Joey. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a service to immediately follow at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, is honored to serve the Bush family.
