Christiane Marie-Jose Mazlin Sichitano

Mrs. Christiane Marie-Jose Mazlin Sichitano, age 82, of St. Martin, MS died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Mrs. Sichitano was born in Coussey, France, on March 4, 1938. She grew up in the family home in Sionne, France. In her early years there, she worked as a seamstress in the clothing factories in Vaucoleur. She married USAF Master Sergeant Michael Joseph Sichitano on July 17, 1961. They came to Mississippi in 1963 and built their home in St. Martin. They lived their entire lives in their home. They owned the Rainbow Kitchen restaurant in D’Iberville, MS during the 1980s. Mrs. Sichitano also worked for 12 years for the Broadwater Hotel and President Casino until Hurricane Katrina. She was a very dedicated collector of everything, but mostly dolls with funny faces from everywhere. She took in all stray animals that came her way looking for love. She was always there if someone needed help or a place to rest their heads. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Master Sergeant Michael Joseph Sichitano; her parents, Louis Alphonse Mazelin and Yvonne Marguerite Charlotte Gascon-Mazelin; her brothers, Raymond Mazelin and Gerard Mazelin; and by her sister, Josiane Mazelin. Survivors include her sister, Irene Mazelin Cadamuroof of Sionne, France; her sons, Michel (Judy) Sichitano and Jimmie (Sandy) Sichitano; one daughter, Patricia (Donald) Sichitano Westbrook all of St. Martin, MS; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sichitano family.
