Clinton Daniel Richard "Clint" Daugherty

Clinton Daniel Richard “Clint” Daugherty, 27, of Biloxi, MS passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Ocean Springs. Clint was a native of Biloxi and a former resident of Stone County. He was a 2009 graduate of Biloxi High School and a member of First Baptist Church Biloxi. Clint worked with his father as a Real Estate Assistant for many years with Fidelis Realty. He never allowed his physical disabilities to interfere or restrict him from assisting his father in the real estate profession. Clint had an unconditional love for his father, mother, sisters and especially his brother, Matt, who helped his brother navigate through his disabilities. He had a strong love for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golfing. He loved Southern Miss football. He also loved to ride with his father in their 72 Volt open door electric car, which he called “PJ” which was short for Puddle Jumper. Clint’s love for people was unsurpassed, including his love for his personal care assistant, Sharon Beber, as well as several of his neighbors, especially, Tommy Payne, who would assist his father in providing care for him. Clint’s beautiful blue eyes and infectious smile were trademarks of his outgoing personality. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Katie and Stanley Lodrigues and Alta Fern and Wallace Joseph Richard, Sr. Clint’s survivors include his father, David Daugherty; his mother, Sherry (Billy) Jones; his sisters, Della (Marc) Beech and Sherry Lynn Jones; his brother, Matt Daugherty; his nieces, Katie Beech and Sailor Kate Jones; his nephew, Collin Beech; his aunt, Kay Rodgers; and his cousins, Jon Rodgers and Bryan (Leah) Rodgers. In lieu of flowers the family and Clint would prefers donations be made in Clint’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Clint loved St. Jude’s and gave monthly. Funeral Services will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
