Connie Mary DiMauro

On Monday, November 25, 2019, Connie Mary Salonia DiMauro passed away after a brief illness with family at her side. Connie was born in Middletown, Connecticut to Nella ( Linares ) and Michael Salonia. Connie, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, is survived by her 6 children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Connie had survived her husband of 65 years, Harry Joseph DiMauro who passed away in 2015. Connie is also survived by two brothers and one sister, and many nieces and nephews. Connie retired from Chesebrough-Ponds, Inc. in Clinton, CT in 1992, however, the great portion of her life was spent as a devoted homemaker. Connie showed her loving care with her family in so many ways. She was a talented artist who enjoyed sharing her gift with her children and grandchildren. Her pencil portraits and oil paintings of family members, as well as many other sketches, paintings, and short stories will be treasured by her family for many generations to come. Connie's family was also blessed with her culinary talents. Her delicious recipes will be passed down and many will try but none will succeed in creating the delectable feasts and treats that have fed and delighted so many on special days and any ordinary day. Her greatest gift however, is one that can only be held in hearts, and that is her gift, to spread warmth and love no matter how many came into her home or how many were placed in her arms. The family will gather privately for a memorial service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
