Cory Edward Sabata

Cory Edward Sabata, age 36, was born in Biloxi, MS on July 10, 1984 and joined the angels on February 23, 2021. Cory was a graduate of Ocean Springs High School class of 2002. He was part of the gifted and talented program, as well as woodshop. He was an exceptional construction worker and mechanic. He had a passion for the Saints, beach life, fishing, and auto mechanics. He was a jack of all trades. Cory was an inspiring self-taught tattoo artist and made his body his canvas. He was not only a lover of art but animals as well. He also enjoyed cooking. He loved music of all kinds, mostly rap. You could always catch him with his ear buds in- amazingly Walmart still had them in stock. He lost them constantly! He loved all of his nieces and nephews, and was always teaching them new things (including guitar and knee boarding), and even watched kid movies with them. His personality could light up a room the second he entered it. He could always make you smile. He cherished all of his friends and would never let them go hungry or homeless. He was the most generous person and was always willing to help. He would sit and listen to your heartaches for as long as you wanted to talk. He always tried to give the best advice he could to make you feel better. He was a great soul taken from us too soon. He is preceded in death by mother Susan Snell Sabata Williams, maternal grandparents Richard G. Snell, Sr. (retired USAF) and Ruth Snell, and aunt Donna Snell, as well as many friends. Survivors include uncle Richard G. (Ida) Snell, Jr., and his family, uncles Lawrence (Elizabeth) Snell, Scott (Robin) Snell, and Roger (Dolores) Mckenzie, aunt Diana Snell, cousin Steven (Kaitlyn) Mckenzie and their children Evelyn and Calvin, cousin Lauren (Dave) Bradbury and their children Kyleigh and Kolton, and cousins Darrell, Nick (Donna), Joseph, and Magnolia Snell. The family held a private celebration of life in his honor the way he wanted. A special thank you to Trishia Bradley, Donna Snell, and Lauren Bradbury for coordinating his celebration of life. “We thought of you today, but that was nothing new. We thought of you yesterday, and days before that too. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you ever present in our hearts.”- Unknown You will truly be missed by all of us.
